CFR honors Henderson for early career achievement

James Henderson


Mississippi State University extension forestry assistant professor James Henderson was recognized with the Early Career Achievement Award at the College of Forest Resources' recent advisory banquet.

Among his many accomplishments, Henderson is praised for his publications addressing the impact of forestry and forest products to each of Mississippi's timber-producing counties. A four-year veteran, he has also garnered extramural grants for his program and serves as the forest economist in MSU's Extension Service.

Henderson holds a bachelor's degree from Louisiana Tech University, an M.B.A. and master's of science degrees from Mississippi State University, and a Ph.D. from Louisiana State University.
