Kushla recognized with extension/outreach award
John Kushla
Mississippi State University associate extension/research professor John Kushla was recognized with the annual extension/outreach award at the College of Forest Resource's recent advisory committee banquet.
Kushla works out of the Verona office of the North Mississippi Research and Extension Center.
A nine-year veteran, he conducts an average of 70 programs each year for landowners and youth interested in forest resources. In addition to his Extension programming, he has authored or co-authored more than 200 publications.
Kushla earned a bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University, a master's from the University of Florida and a doctoral degree from Oregon State University.
