ARF presents students with achievement awards
Four Mississippi State students received awards for outstanding achievement during the Christmas Awards Banquet of the MSU Association of Retired Faculty on Nov. 30. Recipients of the $500 awards selected by university faculty committees in their respective areas of study are (from left) Meredith Hilliard, winner of the Peyton Ward Williams, Jr., Distinguished Writing Award, an English and Spanish major from Hernando; Anne Larrah Johnson, winner of the Charles E. Lindley Leadership in Agriculture Award, a biochemistry major from Dyersburg, Tenn.; and Leah Ballard Welborn, winner of the William L.
