Mark your calendars: MSU Benefits Day next week
The Department of Human Resources Management’s “Benefits Day” is a come-and-go event for all benefits-eligible employees at Mississippi State on Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Colvard Student Union's Foster Ballroom. Throughout Benefits Day, you’re encouraged to:
-- Browse exhibits and collect information (and freebies) and get a free snow cone.
-- Enjoy a complimentary lunch (only a few spaces remain; register soon) and learn about retirement planning (financial advisors panel discussion at noon -- registration is required -- instructions below):
1. Go to http://learning.hrm.msstate.edu.
2. Enter your MSU NetID and password.
3. Under the My Community tab near the top of page, click on Learning Library.
4. Scroll down to "Retirement Planning Lunch and Learn" or search for the session title.
5. Click on "Select a timeslot" directly below the course detail. Scroll down and confirm by clicking "Book."

MSU vendors representatives will be exhibiting brochures and pamphlets, providing important information about plans, and engaging with employees throughout the day to help with your questions. You may also attend any workshops if you’re interested in specific plans in order to gather more specific plan details, highlights and changes for 2017 to prepare for Open Enrollment this October.

12:00-1:00 -- Retirement Planning Workshop (Register for a complimentary lunch & learn, see instructions above)
