Poole new director of international partnerships and protocol for International Institute

Madison Poole

Madison Poole is the new director of international partnerships and protocol for Mississippi State University's International Institute.

The International Institute is charged with facilitating and expanding international learning, research, and outreach efforts at MSU. The Office of International Partnerships and Protocol primarily supports the Institute’s, and therefore the university’s, mission to further globalize MSU through the facilitation of global academic and research partnerships.

The unit interacts with MSU departments, colleges, the Office of General Counsel, and foreign universities and organizations in developing functioning partnerships through Memorandums of Understanding and Agreement. The office also broadcasts current and upcoming international MSU activities and arranges visits by international dignitaries or distinguished scholars.

Poole began working with the International Institute in 2014. She is an MSU graduate in the College of Business, where she earned her Bachelor of Accountancy and Master of Business Administration degrees.
