'Avoiding Heat Stress' employee program offered

The Office of Regulatory Compliance and Safety is offering a new program to Mississippi State University employees titled "Avoiding Heat Stress," which addresses the considerations of working in hot environments both indoors and outdoors.

The program covers the symptoms of heat-related illness, environmental factors that increase the chance of being affected by a heat-related illness, the administrative and engineering controls that can reduce the chance of being affected, and some additional helpful tips.

If you are interested in having employees participate in this free program, please contact Alicia Musselwhite at 662-325-4607 or amusselwhite@research.msstate.edu.
