Mlsna awarded Indo-U.S. initiative project

Todd Mlsna, associate professor of analytical chemistry at Mississippi State University, and Dinesh Mohan, a professor in the School of Environmental Science at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi, India, were recently awarded one of eight institutional partnership projects through the Indo-U.S. 21st Century Knowledge Initiative (formerly known as the Obama-Singh 21st Century Knowledge Initiative).

Mlsna and Mohan, a Mississippi State alumnus, were awarded funding for their project titled “Indo-U.S. Initiatives on Cleaner Air and Water Research."

The initiative aims to strengthen collaboration and build partnerships between American and Indian institutions of higher education. Each award can be utilized over a three-year period, with the aim of encouraging mutual understanding, educational reform, and economic growth, as well as the development of junior faculty at Indian and American institutions of higher learning.
