HRM to host search committee workshop

Human Resources Management at Mississippi State will host a "Successful Search Committees Guaranteed" workshop with noted HR practitioner Chris Lee of SearchCommittees.com on Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Colvard Student Union's Fowlkes Auditorium.

MSU academic and non-academic administrators, faculty and staff who have served or plan to serve on a search committee are invited to attend this free session. A box lunch will be provided.

Lee has served as the chief human resources officer for three different colleges or universities and a state college system. His areas of expertise are employment, training and performance management -- or, in his words, "finding, developing, and managing talent in organizations." He has consulted with clients and presented keynote addresses throughout the U.S., Canada, Australia and South Africa.

Registration is encouraged, but not required. Registered participants will receive a copy of Lee’s latest publication, "Search Committees: A Comprehensive Guide to Successful Faculty, Staff and Administrative Searches." To register:
