College of Education research forum Friday

Federal funding and educational research top the agenda for the College of Education's fourth-annual faculty and student research forum at Mississippi State University Friday.

Melody Musgrove, director of the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education Programs, will deliver a keynote address at 9 a.m. in Bost Extension Center examining "Federal Funding as an Engine of Innovation."

The College of Education and the Office of Research and Economic Development are hosting this year's showcase of faculty, staff and student research programs and projects.

"The forum provides an environment that promotes discussion and fosters collaboration with other colleges on campus," said Associate Dean for Research J. Elton Moore.
