Safe Zone training coming up; register by Friday

The mission of Safe Zone at Mississippi State University is to promote a welcoming, supportive and safe community for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) faculty, staff and students, as well as campus and community allies.

The next MSU LGBTQ Awareness Safe Zone Training will be held Feb. 10 in Colvard Student Union's Foster Ballroom from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Food and beverages will be provided. CEU's and certificates of completion will be given to participants. Registration is free to faculty, staff, and students.

The deadline to register is Friday [Jan. 31].

You can register a group or an individual. Please make sure that the person(s) registered intend to attend the training. Participation is limited to 75.

Register by emailing name, position (faculty, staff or student), and department to Monique McGee at mmcgee@saffairs.msstate.edu.
