Register now for NCITEC's transportation-related research conference

The Mississippi State-based National Center for Intermodal Transportation for Economic Competitiveness (NCITEC) is hosting its first annual conference Oct. 31-Nov. 1 in Colvard Student Union.

The conference is free to all attendees. However, please pre-register online by Oct. 18.

The conference features presentations by investigators currently funded by NCITEC. The investigators of these projects will share their findings at this upcoming annual conference, which will bring together a diverse group of experts from industry, academia and government.

The conference is also hosting a student poster competition that is open to all MSU researchers and educators working on transportation-related issues. Please encourage your students to submit posters for this event. Details are available at http://www.ncitec.msstate.edu/poster.

NCITEC was founded in January 2012 as a University Transportation Center (UTC) sponsored by the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT). NCITEC is a consortium of five universities: Mississippi State University, University of Denver, University of Mississippi, Louisiana State University and Hampton University.

The theme of NCITEC is to promote the development of an integrated, economically competitive, efficient, safe, secure, and sustainable national intermodal transportation network by integrating all transportation modes for both freight and passenger mobility.
