Animal User Certification session set for Thursday

All individuals engaged in animal research at Mississippi State University must complete the Animal User Certification prior to initiation of research with animals. This training must be refreshed every four years. If you are a student, staff or faculty member and are planning on conducting research on animals in the upcoming months or are in need of refresher training, please plan to attend the fall 2013 live session.

The training takes place Sept. 26 from 2-3:30 p.m. at the College of Veterinary Medicine's Lindley Classroom, which is located on the third floor of the Wise Center.

This training will be limited to 85 participants. Registration is required. If you are interested in attending, please follow the steps listed below to register:

1. Click http://orc.msstate.edu/quicklinks/training.php

2. Under Currently Scheduled Live Classes, click on “Animal User Certification”.

3. You will need to enter your netID and password to access the “Enroll in a Course” page.

4. Click the title for the date you wish to register, and then click “Yes” to enroll, or “No” to be returned to the enrollment page.
