Defensive driving course coming up June 8

The Office of Regulatory Compliance and Safety is offering the National Safety Council's Defensive Driving Course at no charge to university employees, including student workers.

After participating in the one-day session delivered by MSU Safety Officer Alicia Musselwhite, attendees will receive a nationally recognized certification from the National Safety Council. The NSC's certifications are accepted in more states than any other driver improvement or driver education program for insurance discounts.

The Defensive Driving Course offers practical strategies to reduce
collision-related injuries, fatalities, and costs.

This session is limited to 15 participants and a minimum of 7 attendees must be present to hold the class. Training session and location are as follows:

Wednesday, June 8 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Room 119 at the Life Sciences & Biotechnology Institute

If you are interested in attending, please follow the steps listed below to register:

2. Under Currently Scheduled Live Classes, you will see the title Defensive Driving. Click the title for the date you wish to register.

3. You will need your NetID and password to access the "Enroll in a Course" page.

4. Click the title for the date you wish to register, and then click "Yes" to enroll, or "No" to be returned to the enrollment page.
