Free training: Become certified in CPR and first aid next week

The Office of Environmental Health and Safety and Human Resources Management at Mississippi State University are partnering to bring Medic First Aid Basic certification training to campus.

After participating in the one-day session delivered by MSU Safety Officer Alicia Musselwhite, attendees will be certified to administer CPR and first aid.

All MSU employees are welcome to participate in the training. Departments with a high incidence of safety concerns should strongly consider sending a representative to become certified.

This free, certification program is limited to 12 participants per one-day session. A minimum of seven attendees must be present to hold the class. Please wear comfortable clothes to the session.

Upcoming training sessions and locations include:

-- Thursday, Sept. 12, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Room 231, Colvard Student Union
