PCSM nomination deadline Wednesday

The President's Commission on the Status of Minorities (PCSM) at Mississippi State University is accepting nominations to fill vacancies for representatives on the commission. Those who are interested also have the option to self-nominate. The nomination process is open to all. There are vacancies in the following categories:

Executive/Administrative/Managerial Member - 2 positions
Faculty Member - 1 position
Professional Staff Member - 1 position
Support Staff Member - 5 positions
Graduate Student - 1 position

The PCSM, an advisory group to the MSU President, strives to facilitate interculturalism and promote diversity and inclusion at Mississippi State. PCSM advocates for the well-being, development, and advancement of all minorities and encourages a climate that enriches the campus experience for all.

Please send the nominee's name, category, and contact information (telephone number and e-mail address) to Adrienne Morris at morris@hrm.msstate.edu by Wednesday [July 31].

All interested parties will be sent a description of the responsibilities and expectations for membership along with a brief questionnaire. New members will be selected and notified in August.
