Stennis Institute/Capitol press forum in Jackson features PSC's Presley June 3

Brandon Presley, Northern District Public Service Commissioner, will be the featured speaker at a June 3 luncheon sponsored by Mississippi State University's Stennis Institute of Government and Community Development and the Capitol press corps.

Presley was elected to the Public Service Commission in 2007, and re-elected in 2011, winning 28 of the district's 33 counties. Elected to the PSC at age 30, he was the youngest commissioner ever elected in Mississippi.

Presley was recently elected first vice president of the Southeastern Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners, which is composed of Public Service Commissioners from the eleven Southern states and Puerto Rico.

The event is open to the public, and will be held at The Capital Club, 125 South Congress Street, 19th Floor in downtown Jackson. Cost to attend is $20. Please make checks payable to the Stennis Institute.
