ORED, Graduate School hosting seminar on winning fellowship applications
The Office of Research and Economic Development and the Graduate School invite Mississippi State faculty and graduate students to an upcoming seminar about preparing winning fellowship applications.
Associate Vice President and Dean Lori Mann Bruce will lead the session focusing on the core elements of a successful application with an emphasis on student essays (personal, relevant background and future goals essays and research plan essays) and persuasive reference letters. She will also provide insights into a typical fellowship review and selection process, as well as tips for identifying fellowship opportunities.
The free seminar will be held Sept. 7 from 4-5:30 p.m. in Simrall Electrical Engineering Building, Room 100. Online registration is available at www.tfaforms.com/447985.
