International Institute hosting Fulbright Scholar program workshop Tuesday

The International Institute at Mississippi State will host the following seminar next week:

Fulbright Scholar Program: How to Submit A Competitive Application - A Fulbright Can Help!

3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

This session will provide a brief overview of the program, sharing of personal experiences and provide insight on submitting a competitive application. The Fulbright Scholar Program is accepting applications through August 1, 2017.

In addition to the presentations, MSU Fulbrighters will be available for 20 minute private consultations prior to the presentation. You must sign up for the one-on-one sessions via email to Shauncey Hill at shill@international.msstate.edu. Preferences will be given in the order in which the requests are received. The deadline to sign up for one-on-one sessions will be April 21.

The Core Fulbright Scholar Program offers over 500 teaching, research, or combination teaching/research awards in over 125 countries. Opportunities are available for college and university faculty and administrators as well as for professionals, artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers, independent scholars and many others. In addition to several new program models designed to meet the changing needs of U.S. academics and professionals, Fulbright is offering more opportunities for flexible, multi-country grants.
