Should you contact the program officer? Find out Tuesday

Establishing an effective line of communication with a funding agency's program officer is imperative to successful proposals. One conversation with a program officer could impact a faculty member or researcher rethinking the project focus or questioning if you are submitting to the appropriate funding track or agency directorate.

Join the Office of Research and Economic Development at Mississippi State for a "Should I Contact the Program Officer?" seminar on Tuesday [Feb. 21] from 2:30-4 p.m. in the theater at Bost Extension Center.

The presentation by Assistant Vice President for Research Teresa Gammill will focus on the communication skill sets for success required when contacting a program officer. A real-time conference call will be held with a program officer to discuss a white paper associated with a planned proposal submission.

Please pre-register for this free session at www.research.msstate.edu/workshops.
