You're invited: Mississippi Children’s Museum visiting Wednesday to explore potential partnerships

Faculty, staff, administrators and students at Mississippi State are invited to learn more about the Mississippi Children’s Museum and opportunities for collaboration on Wednesday [Jan. 18] from 2-3:30 p.m. in the Dunn Conference Room on the second floor of McCain Hall.

The museum provides experiences to ignite a thirst for discovery, knowledge and learning in all children with a focus on literacy, the arts, science, nature, health and nutrition at its Jackson location through a variety of outreach and education programs throughout the state. A second location is planned for Meridian.

The Mississippi Children’s Museum is seeking to expand its programming in a number of ways including STEM education, maker spaces and outdoor and natural resources exhibits. There may be ways for Mississippi State faculty, staff, and students to collaborate with the museum in research, educational outreach, exhibit design and more.

Please contact Carmen Kelly at ckelly@research.msstate.edu to RSVP or Devon Brenner at devon@research.msstate.edu with any questions.
