Linking Internationals in the Community program seeks host families

The LINC program at Mississippi State -- Linking Internationals in the Community -- helps connect international students with individuals and families in the local community through regular, monthly communication and engagement activities.

The Holmes Cultural Diversity Center is seeking host families for the LINC program for the 2016-2017 academic year. The purpose of this program is to help share cultures and develop friendships between the international student and host family. Please note: host families are not expected to provide living arrangements for the international students in this program.

This year, the Holmes Cultural Diversity Center will sponsor several optional events to help host families initially connect to their international participant. If you are interested in serving as a host, please visit www.linc.msstate.edu.

HCDC plans to announce these pairings at the LINC Kick-Off and Welcome event on Thursday [Sept. 1] from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Colvard Student Union, Foster Ballroom, Section U.
