Interested in U.S. Department of Education funding? Learn more Thursday

The multi-disciplinary nature of education-related research allows for a wide variety of funding opportunities for researchers. Grants are offered by the U.S. Department of Education to stimulate research on issues in related disciplines, as well as to advance innovation and pedagogy through the study of varied methods and outcomes.

Join the Office of Research and Economic Development for a No Researcher Left Behind: An Overview of the U.S. Department of Education's Funding Landscape and Other Potential Funding Sources for Educational Outreach and Research seminar on Thursday [April 21] from 3-4:30 p.m. in the theater at Bost Extension Center.

In addition to examining Education Department opportunities, this session will identify programs for education research offered by other federal and private sponsors. The presentation will also address standard processes for proposal preparation and submission to the U.S. Department of Education, the availability of data for use in proposal development, and key regulatory issues for management of Education Department awards.

Stephanie Hyche, an associate director of Sponsored Programs Administration, will lead the session.
