SBIR/STTR: How to Make These Funding Mechanisms Work for You seminar this week

Numerous federal agencies employ the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs to stimulate technological innovation by funding research and development efforts that partner small businesses and nonprofit research institutions.

Join the Office of Research and Economic Development at Mississippi State for a SBIR/STTR: How to Make These Funding Mechanisms Work for You seminar on Wednesday [April 13] from 2:30-4 p.m. in the theater at Bost Extension Center. In addition to providing a basic explanation of SBIR and STTR programs, this workshop will address a variety of questions including:

-- How can I use SBIR/STTR to access federal funding streams?

-- What are the pros and cons of working with a small business?

-- How do I recognize a good partner?

-- What are best practices?
