Volunteers needed for National Collegiate Landscape Competition

The National Collegiate Landscape Competition is an event for landscape schools across the country to come together and compete, have a career fair, and foster fellowship, and Mississippi State is hosting this year's event March 16-19.

Faculty, staff and student volunteers are need to give directions, hand out water and maps, unload materials, help with events, run errands for sponsors, deliver meals to sponsors, and give rides to participants in golf carts.

There will be about 60 schools with around 850 students, as well as industry professionals, faculty and visitors. Organizers are expecting about 1,250.

Volunteers are welcome to work two- to four-hour shifts on any of the three days of the event. For more information or to volunteer, please contact JT Wilkinson at jtw330@msstate.edu or 601-622-4333.
