Global Engagement Series to explore 'Inviting an International Scholar'
The International Institute at Mississippi State will host a forum on “Inviting an International Scholar” as part of its Global Engagement Series on March 24 at 3:30 p.m. in Colvard Student Union's Fowlkes Auditorium.
The seminar will explain the process of inviting an international visitor -- including scholar, researcher or intern -- to campus and obligations of the host department to the visitor during their stay. Considerations that will be discussed include housing, immigration (DS-2019 form assistance), export control compliance, letters of invitation, and funding.
