Grant program encourages new ideas for improving undergrad teaching

The Center for Teaching and Learning at Mississippi State is accepting proposals for the 2016 Ottilie Schillig Special Teaching Projects Program.

This program provides financial support to encourage new ideas for improving undergraduate teaching. The awards are restricted to projects related to undergraduate instruction and learning with a maximum award of $3,000. Guidelines for submitting a proposal may be found on the Center for Teaching and Learning web site at www.ctl.msstate.edu/instructionalresources/teachinggrants.

Individuals who hold academic status as instructor, assistant professor, associate professor or professor at MSU are eligible to receive funds through this program. Proposals must be submitted electronically as a PDF to the Center for Teaching and Learning by email at SchilligAward@msstate.edu no later than March 14. The proposals will be forwarded to the appropriate dean for priority ranking. Individuals will be notified of the awards by April 22.
