Deadline nears for PCSW 'Outstanding Women' nominations
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2016 Outstanding Women Awards Program, sponsored by the President's Commission on the Status of Women at Mississippi State. These awards recognize women who are advocates for the well-being, development and advancement of all women on the university's campuses and the surrounding communities.
Award recipients will receive a plaque and a $1,000 award and will also be honored at a public reception in early April. Nominations will be accepted for the following categories: faculty, professional staff (non-faculty), support staff, graduate student, and community.
MSU faculty, staff and students are invited to nominate campus and community women for the awards using the nomination form available at www.committees.msstate.edu/pcsw/forms.php on the PCSW website. The completed application packet along with two letters of recommendation should be e-mailed to kgh10@msstate.edu or sent to Kim Kavalsky, 140 Magruder Street, Mail Stop 9579, Mississippi State, MS 39762. Nomination packets are due no later than Feb. 26.
