Research Security offering ITAR training sessions throughout semester

The Office of Research Security at Mississippi State will be offering International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) basic training sessions throughout the spring semester. The program will cover why adhering to ITAR regulations is vital, the responsibilities of the principal investigator and research staff, and the consequences of not following ITAR rules, among other topics.

All presentations will be held in Room 30 of the High Performance Computing Collaboratory in the Thad Cochran Research, Technology and Economic Development Park, where there is ample and free parking, on the following dates:

* Feb. 11, 1:30-3 p.m.

* Feb. 24, 9:30-11 a.m.

* March 8, 9:30-11 a.m.

* March 21, 1:30-3 p.m.
