ITS offering anti-SPAM information sessions this month

SPAM, or unwanted email, is an unfortunate reality of life on the Internet. To help you better understand SPAM and learn about the steps you can take to control it, Information Technology Services at Mississippi State will conduct a series of presentations aimed at providing you with tips, techniques and best practices as well as giving you an opportunity to get answers to questions.

Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Some of the presentations will be streamed live should you prefer to participate remotely.

Sessions will be held:

* Giles Hall Harrison Auditorium, Nov. 4, 11 a.m.-noon (livestream)

* McCool Hall Rogers Auditorium, Nov. 6, 11 a.m.-noon (livestream)

* Thompson Hall Annex Room 100, Nov. 13, 10-11 a.m. (livestream)

* Bost Extension Center Theater, Nov. 18, 10-11 a.m.
