ITS list provides Windows 10 software certification guidance

Since the release of Windows 10 in late July, third-party software vendors have been working to certify a version of their software that will function correctly on the new Microsoft operating system.

There are a number of software packages in use at Mississippi State that are not yet certified by the vendor to work correctly with Windows 10. While non-certified software may work fine, there are no guarantees and no support if problems are encountered.

A list of significant software in use on campus along with its Windows 10 certification status can be found at http://its.msstate.edu/support/desktop/windows10.

If you are considering purchase of a new computer, you are encouraged to review this page and consult your desktop support specialist prior to making your purchase decision. Please contact the ITS Help Desk with questions or if you need additional information.
