Faculty, staff reminded to order commencement regalia
The Barnes & Noble at Mississippi State reminds faculty and staff that orders for spring commencement should be submitted to the bookstore no later than April 29. Orders may be submitted via phone, in-person or fax from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays.
If you are unsure if you will be awarding a degree or representing your department, you are encouraged to make your reservation and payment before April 29 to avoid shipping fees and incorrect hood school colors.
Store personnel will be glad to take your payment over the phone. Please have your cap size, height, chest or coat size and degree information available when you order. If your department is submitting the order on your behalf, please specify the name of the institution that awarded your degree to ensure correct hood colors.
All orders will be available for pick-up on May 7 from noon to 5 p.m. and May 8 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the bookstore.
Please contact the bookstore about payment options for individuals or departments. The rental cost for faculty is $60 plus any applicable sales taxes. MSU faculty and staff receiving a degree from the university in May are not eligible for the $60 rental fee.
If you would like to fax your department order you may do so at 662-325-8723. Please include contact information of the person store personnel need to contact for payment information.
Please note that the last day to order and pay for regalia for the spring commencement ceremony is April 29 at 7 p.m.
