'Avoiding Heat Stress' presentation Monday

The Office of Regulatory Compliance and Safety is offering a 30-minute presentation on Monday, Aug. 15 that addresses issues that arise when working in hot environments, both indoor and outdoor.

Participants will learn the symptoms of heat-related illness, environmental factors that increase the chances of a heat-related incident, administrative and engineering controls that are available, and other helpful tips and information.

The session will be held in Mitchell Memorial Library's auditorium from 1:30-2 p.m.

2. Under Currently Scheduled Live Classes, you will see the title Avoiding Heat Stress. Click the title for the date you wish to register.

3. You will need your NetID and password to access the "Enroll in a Course" page.

4. Click the title for the date you wish to register, and then click "Yes" to enroll, or "No" to be returned to the enrollment page.
