Host families sought for weekend visit by Iraqi undergraduates

The Office of Student Leadership and Community Engagement at Mississippi State is looking for 25 families to host one or two college students for two nights during the weekend of July 11 for the Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program.

The exchange is an international, university-hosted program that invites undergraduate Iraqi students to study a theme of choice at an American university. Each year, students from this program are housed for two nights with an American family as a part of the program which encourages diversity, cultural acceptance, and depth of understanding of their theme: Food Security and Food Systems.

To volunteer as a host family, please visit http://www.signupgenius.com/go/508094AACA82FA57-iraqi.

Please contact Alesha Briscoe at amb667@msstate.edu or 662-378-6505 or Cade Smith at cade@saffairs.msstate.edu for additional information or with any questions about the program.
