Center for Continuing Education offering course discount to MSU employees

The Center for Continuing Education at Mississippi State University has more than 300 online professional development and personal enrichment classes. Courses are six weeks in length and qualify for 2.4 CEUs if needed.

University employees receive a 10 percent discount on these courses, which would make their registration fee $89. Employees can pay for the courses themselves or departments can pay for the registration. Classes start each month.

The center is also hosting a series of youth summer camps in June and July. Dawg Daze of Summer camps will be available for ages 5-7, 8-10 and 11-13. There will be a discount available for children of MSU employees.

What happens at Dawg Daze of Summer? Major fun. And while the emphasis is on fun, campers also experience serious learning. Camps are designed with challenging activities that help develop the minds, character and physical health of children.

All camps are led by certified teachers, fitness instructors and staff members.

For registration information, visit http://ce.msucares.com/dawgdazecamp.php. Early registration is advised.
