Former Lady Bulldog Phillips named assistant coach
Former Mississippi State women's golf player and graduate assistant Leigh Phillips has accepted the assistant coach seat for the Lady Bulldogs. "I am very excited and thankful to have the opportunity to be the first assistant coach for the women's golf team," she said.

ITS: 'onCampus' changing to 'myState' Friday night
Mississippi State University's web portal is being rebranded from "onCampus" to "myState" to more appropriately convey its role as a personal, customizable gateway to web-based systems and services. The change will be made Friday night, and so users will notice differences when logging in Saturday.
In time for Christmas: Jack Cristil biography
Orders are now being accepted for the biography of Mississippi State's legendary sports broadcaster. "Jack Cristil: The Voice of the Bulldogs" is written by university alumnus and veteran newsman Sid Salter. Best-selling author and fellow alumnus John Grisham is providing the book's foreword.
White House: Perkes a 'Champion of Change'
The founding director of Mississippi State's Gulf Coast Community Design Studio will be honored Tuesday at the White House. David J. Perkes of Biloxi is a new selection for President Barack Obama's Champions of Change initiative.
